The 2016 New Zealand Law Awards shortlists have been announced for all deal categories, with Harmos Horton Lusk featuring as finalists in three deal categories.
The firm is proud to be represented at this year's New Zealand Law Awards for its involvement in:
- Sale of Direct Capital's stake in Transaction Services Group to Calera Capital: nominated under the M&A Deal of the Year and the International Deal of the Year categories. We were the New Zealand legal advisers to Calera Capital on this transaction. Our team was led by Andrew Harmos (Director) and also included Nathanael Starrenburg (Director) and Annie Steel (Senior Associate).
- Merger to form Coretex and Milford investment: nominated under the Mid-Market Deal of the Year category. We were legal advisers to International Telematics Holdings on its merger with Imarda to form Coretex. Our team was led by Nathanael Starrenburg (Director).
- Takeover of Pulse Energy by Buller Energy: nominated under the Mid-Market Deal of the Year category. We were specialist takeover advisers to the independent directors of Pulse Energy on the response to a takeover offer from Buller Energy. Our team was led by Andrew Harmos (Director) and Nathanael Starrenburg (Director).
This continues Harmos Horton Lusk's successes at the New Zealand Law Awards, where four of its transactions were shortlisted as deal category finalists in 2015.
The winners of this year's New Zealand Law Awards will be announced on 17 November 2016.
