Harmos Horton Lusk is acting as principal legal advisors to Emirates Team New Zealand, the Defender of the America’s Cup, in connection with all aspects of the formation of the ‘America’s Cup Partnership’.  The Partnership marks the first time in the 174-year history of the America’s Cup that competing teams will unite under a shared governance and commercial structure to operate competitions, share economics, and enhance engagement with America’s Cup fans globally.

The Partnership establishes a permanent federated governance model and commercial organization for America's Cup and its participants, lending continuity to the teams and stability to the long-term stewardship of the Cup, and will continue to focus on innovation, while unlocking growth and long-term investment to provide a platform for financial stability for the event and teams. The Partnership will be driven by a new governance board, with each team having a seat on the board, that will establish an independent management team.

The Harmos Horton Lusk team is led by Greg Horton.
